ROBERTA L. HUGHES

President & Image Consultant

In 2003, Avidere, LLC was formed by Ms. Hughes to provide image and styling services to the media, corporations and individuals. Ms. Hughes is a professional image consultant, colorist, fashion stylist and makeup artist for television, film, and fashion. She is a fashion design consultant for apparel companies and an advisor for corporate uniform apparel programs. Ms. Hughes is the author of the Avidere Image Styler™, television host and sought after national speaker on image management subjects.

In the spring of 2005, to meet the growing consumer demand for image and fashion styling services, Roberta led Avidere to become the first company to adapt image and fashion styling services to the spa environment– helping spas and image professionals make these life-enhancing image services more readily available to men and women everywhere. Avidere's Fashion Stylist Training Programs are directed by Ms. Hughes to ensure the highest quality of training.

Ms. Hughes has appeared on radio and television including ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox networks and is a guest host of the image and style segment on BrideAccess and host for NBC, KSL Studio 5 2006-2007 T.V. style shows. She has been featured in national magazines including Counselor Magazine, Uniforms Magazine, American Spa Magazine and Day Spa Magazine. Ms. Hughes is a member of the editorial advisory board of Uniforms Magazine and Skin Inc. Magazine 2005 – 2007. Ms. Hughes is also a member of the Association of Image Consultants International, International Spa Association, and Fashion Group International.

Ms. Hughes is a graduate of Conselle Institute of Image Management where she studied visual design and the elements and principles of fashion design including lines, shapes, colors, textures, balance and proportions. She is a graduate of Color Qwest and Re-creation Studio where she studied color theory, color profiling, lighting, and media makeup application techniques. Her academic studies also include communication and business management. Ms. Hughes' experience includes producing and hosting image and styling television programs, providing fashion merchandising services to apparel companies, designing image styling products, developing fashion styling training programs, and designing custom uniform programs for corporate clients.

Prior to founding Avidere, LLC, Ms. Hughes worked in Corporate America for fifteen years helping successful Fortune 500 companies and other industry leaders grow their business and develop their brand. As a former corporate executive, Ms. Hughes served in many leadership positions, including business development, customer service, information technology, and education. Ms. Hughes' combined experience and keen understanding of image strategies for individuals and companies enables her to successfully lead Avidere to becoming the nation's premiere image and style company of choice.
